Past, Presen and Future of Win31
Past

During August 2001, Win31 1.0 was registered on Expage.com. Win31's purpose was to provide people with help on Windows 3.1 along with many other features. Win31 2.0 was made in September and Win31 3.0 in October of 2001. Those upgrades added powerful new features to Win31. Finally Win31 4.0 was made in November which had a new layout with new exciting sections. Win31 4.0 would be the last version of Win31 on Expage.com.

Present

I'm still working on this new Win31 5.0 FS Edition. I'm adding new sections and updates almost everyday.

Future

Maybe plans to get our own domain name.

  Win31 5.0 Articles December 2001

Windows XP isn't the biggest thing since Windows 95. When Windows 95 came out, it had a brand new shell, smaller and different buttons, and more. Windows XP has some cool features, but it still has the same shell and buttons only in different colors. That is just my opinion.

September 10-20

This past week I was searching through the expage directory and viewing peoples websites. I noticed that most of the websites I've viewed haven't been updated since like July. I noticed that people just make a website for fun and update it alittle but then they dont update their site and it turns out to be a cruddy site. A couple of reasons why they dont update is because of lack of imagination and creativy. That causes no ideas or great websites. I think you should only make a website if you are going to stick with it. I remember when I used to make hockey sites that I didn't update them and they turned out lie crap. But now I made Win31 on August 4,2001 and its a computer website giant along with Computepage,Canabus and more. The people who make websites and continue to update it are successful webmasters because they put alot of effort in their site and it pays off. I have seen more crappy websites than successful ones which is pretty sad. Sometimes a website is so crappy that I cant even view it. So please think carefully before making a website.

August 15-22

This past week I was searching for Windows 3.1 help for fun on Compuserve.com and I found an article that was on about.com that caught my eye. The title of the article was "Microsoft's Abandoned Child" and it referred to Windows 3.1. The guy writes that Windows 3.1 is dead and Windows 95 is almost extinct. Well that guy is wrong. Some people today still use Windows 3.1. I know I use, but many homes and busniees still rely on Windows 3.1. Windows 3.1 was a huge hit in 1992. Some software that is sold today, still can run on Windows 3.1. So my point is made, Windows 3.1 is still alive!! Check my page out at http://www.expage.com/win31. Also sign the guestbook!!
